Join The World's Biggest Coffee Morning!
Since 1990, Macmillan has been running The World's Biggest Coffee Morning to raise money for people facing cancer. To date, the brilliant social event has raised a staggering £138 million! It's a simple idea, great fun, and best of all it's a fantastic way to do your bit for this thoroughly worthwhile charity. This year, the event will be held on 25th September (although you can of course choose another date if that doesn't work for you).
How Does It Work?
Up and down the country, people will be hosting their own coffee mornings in their homes, offices, village halls and pretty much anywhere else! The idea is that your guests simply make a small donation in return for coffee (or tea!), cakes and any other goodies you offer. Even better, you could ask your guests to bring their own bakes to share.
How Do I Get Involved?
Hosting your own event is easy; Macmillan even send you a free Coffee Morning Kit with everything you need to invite friends, family, neighbours and colleagues to take part.
