Coffee-Direct – Proudly Sponsoring Lymington RNLI

Coffee-Direct is thrilled to have been a sponsor of the 19th annual Lymington Royal National Lifeboat Institution 10K and Children’s Fun Runs.

The event, which raises vital funds for the RNLI station, crew lifesaving kits and crew training, had not taken place since back in 2019, so it was wonderful to see 600 entrants for the 10k run and 200 children running in the four age group categories.

With all entry fees, individual sponsorships and donations going direct to the RNLI, the annual event is a fantastic way for volunteers and supporters to contribute to the amazing work done by the RNLI lifeboat crews.

The Work Done by the RNLI
The RNLI’s volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour rescue service in the UK and Ireland, which includes seasonal lifeguards who look after people on busy beaches.

RNLI crews and lifeguards have saved over 142,700 lives since 1824, while continuing to
influence, supervise and educate people. Its Community Safety teams explain the risks and share safety knowledge with anyone going out to sea or to the coast, and international teams work with like-minded organisations to help tackle drowning in communities at risk all around the world.
