Kopi Luak
We are delighted to be able to offer the very rare “Kopi Luak” coffee to our customers. Kopi Luak is one of the most sort-after and exclusive coffees in the world. The coffee is eaten and digested by the Vietnamese Palm Civet. The process takes place on the islands of Sumatra, Java and Sulawesi in the Indonesian Archipelago. Natives later collect the beans. The coffee is mainly sold in Japan and in the USA, however smaller supplies are now available throughout Europe. This coffee has been reported to be selling in coffee shops in Queensland, Australia for $46.00 (£23/£25) per cup! The coffee is intense yet delicate with very little aftertaste. Remember our coffee is freshly roasted to order and is dispatched the same or next day to guarantee freshness. Once we have prepared your order we vacuum pack it; when you have received your great tasting coffee remember to store it in an air-tight container to ensure the freshness is locked in.
