This wonderful mild coffee is packed full of flavour and rich, strong aromas for an all-round great tasting drink that can be enjoyed at any time of the day. Our San Salvador is only sourced from growers certified by the Rainforest Alliance, who have been working with coffee growers worldwide since 1995 to promote environmental conservation and sustainable livelihoods for workers across a number of industries, especially in the coffee industry. Sourced from El Salvador, this coffee makes a good espresso, but is perhaps best enjoyed prepared by filter or a cafetiere, which allows more space for the flavours to be fully enjoyed.

Straight coffee taste- not as intense as say Mocha Matari but pleasing. Takes a little while to get the grind right for Mocha Pot- all part of the fun.

Subtle and refreshing

I didn’t quite know what to expect with this one. It is of medium strength with a pleasant, mellow aftertaste. Not as acidic as many. An all day drink.

I placed the order with Coffee Direct as it was very good value for money when compared to other coffee providers. Also one of the few that provide coffee from El Salvador. Their website is very easy to use. They offer free delivery over £25 (rather then £50 that others offer). I was enjoying the delicious coffee in my house just a few days later. Many other on-line orders have been very delayed during lockdown. This was excellent service and I shan’t hesitate to use this company again. 5 star.
