What Our Customers Say About Our Most Popular Coffees

We love to hear what our customers think of our delicious, freshly roasted coffees.

You'll find no shortage of 5-star reviews across our range, so we've picked out some of our favourite reviews from our most popular coffees at Coffee-Direct.

Monsoon Malabar – From £14.99
A wonderful variety from our Asian coffee range, picked in the Malabar region of India, one of the wettest regions of southern India, before undergoing an especially unique process to bring out the beans' fullest flavours.

I ordered the Monsoon Malabar ground coffee and I’m very happy with it. The flavour is smooth, rich, and low in acidity, making it really easy to drink without any bitterness. It has a lovely earthy character with a touch of spice that feels unique. The coffee arrived fresh and aromatic, and it brews perfectly every time. Definitely one of the best ground coffees I’ve tried, and I’ll be ordering again.

I have tried several of the better well known brands and didn’t realise what the difference would be between regular coffee and premium coffee what a pleasure
Irwin A.

Fresh and strong, better than anything that comes off a supermarket shelf!

Kenya Blue Mountain – From £17.99
Our Kenya Blue Mountain is grown from seeds originally from Jamaica, which produce a coffee that has the natural sweetness of Blue Mountain Jamaica, but has also taken on the rich aromatic flavours and intensity that is typical of Kenyan coffee. Full bodied, with a good acidity, hints of nut and citrus and a lovely caramel aftertaste, Kenya Blue Mountain is perfect in strong filter coffees or brews straight from the cafetiere.

A wonderfully aromatic and flavoursome coffee, Kenya Blue Mountain ticks All the right boxes for the aficionado, or anyone just seeking a good quality coffee that unfailingly hits the spot - it’s also suitable for a range of coffee-brewing methods; my own preference being a Moka Pot: served black, its subtle notes and cleanness of taste are very apparent; but it’ll be equally impressive if you like your coffee with milk and/or sugar - highly recommended

This is our go to coffee. We have bought this from the first order and love its rounded flavour and quite complex after taste.

A delightful coffee with an inviting aroma. Full bodied, textured and with a hint of chocolate. Not too strong and excellent length. Well worth buying and something to really enjoy

Swiss Water Decaffeinated – From £19.99
A medium roast Arabica from Brazil that is 99.9% caffeine-free and 100% chemical-free. This rich coffee is a full-bodied brew with low acidity and minimal bitterness, and most people who try it can’t tell that it’s decaffeinated. In fact, even the most seasoned coffee drinkers say that it tastes just as good as caffeinated coffee!

This coffee is so tasty you don't even know it's decaf. I use this for my evening cup of coffee and it works a treat.
Karen G.

A beautiful blend. All the flavour and virtually no caffeine. So tasty hot or cold especially refreshing over ice.
Su R.

Distinctive mellow flavour without bitterness. A quality bean with no loss of flavour from the decaffeinating process. Love it.

Arabica Supremo – From £19.99
An extraordinary, complex blend of 100% Arabica beans from five different coffee-growing locations across the world. Deep, rich and smooth, with an exotic, spicy aroma, the recipe for this ingenious mix of high-quality beans is a well-kept secret, but once tried you’ll be left in no doubt as to how amazing it tastes!

This is my first try with Arabica; I have to say that I have delayed the trial for far too long. The first difference I detected was the aroma as it dripped from the machine and then the taste as I sipped it. Hence the 5 stars.
Dennis O.

This blend of Arabica coffee is very nicely balanced, has great aroma and taste. A great ristretto / espresso and also punchy enough for longer coffees.
Ade T.

This is well worth its price. Smooth and rich, with a depth of flavour which suits espresso and filter methods. Currently my favourite bean from Coffee Direct, though I’m still working my way through the great variety of beans on offer.

Golden Crema – From £14.99
This is the crème de la crème of coffee blends, a robust, rich and bold coffee of the highest quality to spoil yourself with at any time of day. The strong blend makes an exquisite espresso, while the luxurious texture is brought to the forefront when you add steamed milk, creating creamy, silky lattes and cappuccinos that are the height of comfort.

Absolutely my favourite coffee by a country mile. A great all rounder, smooth and creamy, with a wonderful aroma and flavour.
Danielle C.

Not only smells good but taste is excellent. Really nice coffee will be buying on repeat

I use this for espresso, and to me it has a classic Italian espresso flavour. Lovely.
