This smooth, full bodied coffee offers a medium strength that is great when used with a cafetiere or filter, and displays subtle and delightful flavours of pistachio nuts. The Skybury plantation, where this coffee is grown, is Australia's oldest producing plantation and the country's largest coffee exporter. The 300 acre plantation is treated to mild winters and warm summers, which make for excellent conditions for growing high quality beans. The coffee harvest, which usually runs through June and July, benefits from cool seasonal mornings that assist the maturing process, and the advanced Skybury plantation methods enable coffee to be processed in as little as one hour, from the field to its dry form. Skybury also go further to ensure a full flavour by leaving a small amount of mucilage on the beans during fermentation, which, when the coffee is roasted, caramelises into a sweet, luxurious flavour. Suitable for numerous brewing methods, Australian Skybury is particular well suited as a percolator coffee as well as for filter and cafetiere use.

Australian Skybury has been my favourite for years. Originally I ordered from another shop but stopped stocking it. I am so happy to have found it here and also discovered Coffee Direct. Good variety of beans, always freshly roasted and swiftly delivered. Now I can sample different beans during every purchase but Australian Skybury is still my no. 1.
Much stronger richer flavour than our usual Rwandan coffee however it lacked something for us so ordered the sample sizes at the same time and have enjoyed experinenting with those.
The beans are fresh and the sealable packets very useful for trying different samples to compare.

I wasn’t sure if this coffee would be any good when I bought it but for an unknown coffee this is very nice. It’s got a positive body and the roast is spot on. If you like a strong coffee this is not for you but if you like a long and loving after taste you can’t go wrong. Everybody goes for the well known coffee’s but give this a go you’ll be pleasantly surprised. 5 stars off me lets hope it can make it into the big time.

Coffee had a burnt taste and did not meet my expectations. I contacted the company and they were not interested in having a sample back and refused a refund. They did send a voucher as a part recompense. I would not use them again, as I really wanted to get Skybury coffee that was as good as I have had previously and there was no interest in finding out if what I was sent was as they would expect it to be or not.

This is a very easy to drink coffee that offers a smooth taste with no bitterness that is nice as a “last coffee of the afternoon”.Not as full bodied as some other coffees,but still an excellent flavour.Ordering and delivery was very easy,fast and drama free.If you love quality coffee and lots of variety,then coffee direct is the way to go.
Nice medium roast coffee from the Atherton Mountains in Australia. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel.
Expensive but the price reduces if you buy a large quantity.
This was a pleasant surprise. I found a bit of an acidic shrill note that I didn’t expect, based on the description, land yet still this coffee is very medium-bodied, and I will be ordering it again. There is almost a sweetness to it.

Simply the best coffee I’ve ever had. It’s a medium roast smooth coffee which if I had to describe the taste I guess I would say hints of chocolate and Carmel. I know it’s not cheap but I think it’s definitely worth paying the extra few pounds for an exceptional coffee.

I bought this coffee for my husband's birthday as it was on his wish list, so I can't speak of its flavour. However, my husband does love his coffee and he's particular about what he drinks so I'm taking this to mean he really loves this coffee.
What I can say for certain is that when he sets his coffee maker, I enjoy the aromas :sunglasses:
Smooth, silky even at very strong brews in my bean to cup machine. The coffee is expensive compared to some other quality beans but worth the difference. Coffee Direct are also cheaper than other sources for this brilliant coffee.

This coffee is done off the best I have tasted. However strong you like your coffee, it remains smooth and not bitter. The beans come in a sealed bag and from the label, roasted to order.
