The Gaggia Classic E24 (Classic Evo) is the culmination of 80 years of tradition, history, and experience. With the Gaggia Classic you can pay attention to every detail and brew real, Italian espresso with the utmost precision. This is a machine in the finest tradition of Achille Gaggia, brewing an espresso with exquisite crema.
Designed to professional standards, the brew head is made of lead-free brass and the outside of the brew group is covered with a stainless steel cover, giving the best in espresso quality and machine longevity. The heavy stainless steel filter-holder ensures a consistent and stable brewing temperature throughout the entire brewing process.
The traditional group, large solenoid valve and traditional filter holder ensure total control over the coffee, while the professional steam arm will froth the perfect microfoam for your cappuccinos.
The machine also comes with three filters: a “perfect crema” basket to help you have the perfect espresso from the first use; a single (7g) and a double (14g) traditional basket that allow you to perfect your home barista skills.

Professional Filter Holder

Customers praised this espresso maker for its "excellent build quality" and ability to produce "fantastic espresso with rich crema." Have wanted this coffee machine for some time coming from a lesser Gaggia model. Barista skills take some honing (particular milk steaming) to get the best output but it does indeed produce fantastic espresso. Using it cannot be rushed, the group head and portafilter need to be left to get nice and hot to get the required coffee temperature. Follow YouTube guides re milk steaming on the Classic as the results can be very hit or miss - I was aware of this prior to purchasing. The build quality of the Classic is fantastic, I intend to leave the machine stock for now.
As for Coffee-Direct, I can't fault them for their service and communication. I'll be coming back for a new grinder. Thanks.
Finally took the plunge after watching hundreds of videos on YouTube regarding this machine. Paired it with a 1zpresso jxpro. Just about dialled it in now and the results are very good. Bottled out of buying the lobster red one and settled for the stainless steel. The machine is smaller than it appears on videos. Nice and compact.

Machine arrived next day and is a simplistic but robust and well made machine and with some helpful tips from some youtubers on how to get the best from the Gaggia Classic Evo we are now enjoying consistant excellent brews!
My 1st coffee machine the delivery was very good especially as close to Christmas kept well informed. It's early days and only used pre ground coffee so far,as no grinder we all enjoy results far better than pod results we tried. Steam wand is very good for heating milk for in my case hot chocolate I'm sure the brass boiler was right choice. machine seems very well made. Many thanks to coffee direct.

I was so excited to update my espresso machine and this hasn't disappointed at all! Simple to use, with a good size tank that is accessible without needing access to the top as I have placed the machine under some units. It has decent steam power on the wand and most importantly is making good consistent espresso for me!

This is my second of these. The first one I had for almost 20 years. It’s simply an excellent coffee maker. The new crema making brew head is full proof and every espresso has a lovely crema. Very nice
Simply the best option for those of us who want authentic Italian barista style coffees and who want to pay for fancy electronics to complicate matters. This machine replaced a Classic that we had used most days for well over 20 years - so when the pump died finally we figured we’d had our money’s worth (:joy:) and it could go to the great barista in the sky. Having done research we came back to the original - no fancy parts to break, just the basics to get the best from freshly ground high quality beans - so you need to learn how to get the froth for your cappuccino but it’s NOT hard folks. Delivered within 48 hours so excellent service.
We've had a Gaggia Classic for nearly 25 years and it's so good we bought another. Seems just a good, but a lot quieter, so hopefully it will last just as long. Ordered on Sunday and arrived on Monday - great service!

This is the third Classic I have had over many years. The last one required frequent descaling despite our having a water softeners and interior cleaning, courtesy of uTube clips but lasted 10 years nonetheless. Such a relief to use this latest version which readily produces perfect espressos with rich crema. The new switch arrangement is better too. Delivery after purchase was so quick and the three year warranty a welcome addition as well as the discounted price. Most grateful!
My Gaggia classic died after 20 year of use with the odd repair. I decided to replace it and found an upgraded version of my machine and bought it as my old one lasted so long I believed the new one would do as well. Most of the other machines have too many extras which would not make coffee as I like it.
Am finding it a lot more difficult to get a good cappuccino made. Seems more difficult than my last Gaggia one. Will see how it goes but not impressed so far.
Simple straight forward machine to use. Looks good whilst fitting neatly into my small kitchen. Important to read the brief instructions. The heavy basket alone adds to the experience. It delivers on the coffee which is strong, smooth with plenty of crema. No bitterness at all. Steam wand is powerful. Very happy. Thank you Gaggia. I think for the price (though not a deal breaker) they could have thrown in a decent stainless steel tamper.
