I have searched for ages to find coffee with fig. Hurray Coffee-direct came to my rescue. The coffee is fantastic and smooth not at all bitter.

I ordered roasted fig to add to my Viennese coffee,which is the only coffee I enjoy. It took a few attempts to get the ratio right but the taste is just fabulous. More rich and sweet. A true indulgence.

Just what I wanted, I have been adding it to other coffees over the months and I have found the coffee blend and the proportions of fig I need to get a strong fruity coffee that we like now so I will be ordering roasted fig and Viennese blend of coffee from now on.

You produce a mild Viennese Blend, I prefer a stronger taste & aroma, I find that adding 25grms of roast &ground to a 250 grm packet of Viennese give me the taste I require.

Viennese Blend Enhanced

I mentioned to C-D that I would prefer the Fig Essence to stand out more, having tasted VB coffee in Portsmouth, Austria & Turkey the fig flavour is more pronounced there, I asked if C-D could enhanced it, and was advised that the ground Fig was now available to do just that, I was over the moon as my original supplier, Brewers of Marmion Rd Portsmouth sold up 12 years ago, now with the Roast & Ground Fig from C-D I have been able to regain the full flavour of Viennese Coffee, it took a little while to get the Coffee/Fig balance to my taste, BUT IT IS SO WORTH IT...Arthur
