Uganda Light Continental Roast is a great choice for those who like a robust coffee. Made from 100% Robusta coffee beans, its strong toasted flavour and deep smokiness make it a bold and flavourful brew. It has an acidity level of 4, strength level of 9, and bears a slight oiliness from its roast colour. Robusta coffees contain almost twice the caffeine of Arabica coffees, so are good to drink when you need a burst of energy. They are also ideal for creating blends with other origin coffees.

Uganda Light Continental Roast is best suited for espresso brewing methods.

Good and strong. I like

Good and strong. I like strong coffee, the trouble with Uganda Light is that the strength overpowers any flavour it may have. Wakes you up for sure but leaves no taste of coffee in the mouth. I'll stick to Directors.

First of the morning

Always like to start the day with a single shot long-ish black. I usually blend perhaps 50/50 for breakfast coffee. Don’t drink milk so can’t comment on adding anything but water!

Best coffee for my Rancilio

I have had a Rancilio Sylva for about 15yrs and have never been able to dial in well unless I used an artisan roast. For 14g in I get 28g out in around 15secs. The bean is Robusta (I think), so only one coffee per day as teh caffeine is almost double. This roast reminds of a continental french roast I used to get around 20yrs ago. I would highly recommend it if you like strong robust coffee
