Sourced from Yunnan, a province in southwestern China, this delightful, medium-strength coffee is very versatile and can be used for all popular preparation methods. A smooth coffee, Yunnan Arabica offers a good body with a hint of acidity and delightful liquorice flavours, making it perfect for lattes and cappuccinos.

Yunnan is known for its diverse landscapes and rich biodiversity, which provide an ideal environment for growing coffee. Yunnan encompasses a range of elevations, from lowland basins to high mountainous regions, and microclimates within the region contribute to the unique flavours found in Yunnan coffees.

Yunnan’s climate is also influenced by the Indian Ocean monsoon, which causes distinct wet and dry seasons. It is this combination of ample rainfall, moderate temperatures and distinct seasons that creates the perfect environment for this very special coffee.

Great fruity coffee, smells of chocolate. Love it.

After a recent visit to Yunnan, I tried to source some coffee with very distinct fruity taste. Some morning it smells of chocolate!

The problem with this coffee,is that it has no strength,and hardly any flavour at all. I tried it in a bean to cup machine,and a cafetière and both left me disappointed.

Lovely mild but tasty coffee

If you like a mild coffee with no bitter coffee this is perfect. Yunnan coffee is very special and hard to come by outside of China lovely as espresso and latte. Beans are perfect.

I was keen to try Chinese coffee and support the coffee growers of Yunnan. This coffee is certainly one that I would buy again. The beans grind perfectly and the taste is excellent.

Super smooth Medium Roast - Great with Milk

I wanted a arabica bean with some acidity but that was a lighter roast and very smooth. This is just the ticket, a medium roast thats very smooth (and from China of all places). Not so sure about espresso but fab with all milk based drinks like lattes and cappuccinos.
