Customers praised this smooth, balanced coffee as "not too strong, not too acidic" with "lovely after taste." Many noted fruity, chocolatey flavors with slight tanginess. Some found it "thin" compared to Kenya/Malawi varieties, and one mentioned a "licorice-y" taste. Overall, shoppers appreciated the quality, freshness, and versatility for espresso, americano, and latte.

A Taste of Home: The Best Coffee We’ve Ever Had!

**Review:**

This coffee was a gift for my husband, and it turned out to be the perfect present! I wanted to make him feel at home, and this coffee instantly transported him back to his homeland. As an Italian, I have high standards when it comes to coffee, and I must say, this is hands down the best coffee I’ve ever tasted.

The flavor is incredibly smooth, not acidic at all, and it has a rich, creamy texture that’s absolutely delightful. It pairs beautifully with Oatly milk, making it a versatile choice for various coffee styles. Whether it’s a strong espresso, a frothy cappuccino, or a creamy latte, this coffee delivers exceptional results every time.

I can’t recommend it enough—it’s a true gem for any coffee lover!

Nice balance and easy going

A nice balance of bitter, floral and sweet. A smooth cup for expresso, americano and latte. Beans looked good quality and not oily. Medium roast which I prefer lately to dark roast.

Zimbabwe and Coffee-Direct

I'm very happy with my choice of the this delightful coffee from Zimbabwe. This surely will become a new powerhouse of quality coffee production. Great fruitless with a slight acidity. I ordered the medium roast which is superb but will definitely try the darker roast too in the future. I have not used Coffee-direct before but will again and am happy to recommend them to supply an excellent coffee from their range but the Zimbabwe is GREAT.

A pleasant enough coffee with a good aroma and colour but the flavour was rather thin and weak when comapred with, say, Malawi or Kenya coffees. No bitterness or bite at all

Decent Coffee

This is a decent coffee, but it’s not something I’ll be buying again. It has a smooth, chocolatey taste, and probably tastes Devine with milk, but as a black coffee, it does not stand out. All in all ok, but there are more flavoursome coffees for the same price as this.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE

Thanks to the excellent website, I found this coffee which is a reasonable substitute for Kona and Australian Highbury which sadly became unavailable.

I should add that this is my favourite mail order company by a long chalk. The Family Lewis are excellent at dealing with my **** ups most efficiently.

Pleasing nutty mid strength

I bought this because I come from Zim and wanted to taste how their coffee is these days. The answer is, lovely, nicely rounded. They grow good tea as well.
