Costa Rica Azalea Coffee

This is my favourite coffee it has a beautiful colour and flavour. Definitely recommend

Got it for my birthday and I had a really high hopes for this one as I wanted to taste coffee from the Central/Western valley of Costa Rica. I have been drinking a wide variety of dark roasts over the course of few years and have to say that unfortunately this one doesn't cut it at all.
- I would say that It was a medium roast at best, definitely looked lighter than other dark roasts I have had.
- Pretty acidic.
- Not much aroma at all.
- Taste was just... I would say - flat, perhaps (even for the medium roast).

If you are after a truly dark roast - maybe skip this coffee, unless of course I was just super unlucky with bag I got.

Good quality but not enough body for my taste.

First purchase from this company and definitely won't be our last. This coffee is a dark roast that really delivers. Strong enough but definitely not overpowering. Flavours are great, chocolatey. Absolutely lovely coffee. Gorgeous colour with lovely caramel undertones and a fruity after taste. Really impressed with the delivery and the packaging is superb. Will definitely be making more purchases.

Having visited Costa Rica and tried some of their coffee during the visit I wanted to try some more on my return home. Found this variety on the coffee direct website and now I'm on my third bag. I like the subtle floral backdrop to the medium strength of the roast. Will be buying again!

Absolutely incredible coffee. No bitterness, insanely smooth, and pleasing floral notes with a very slight acidity.

The flavour is not strong, but tasting for a few seconds really highlights the depth of flavour here. You taste something new and exciting with each sip!

I use a cafetière and really like this flavour. It’s not too strong but has a lovely coffee smell and a smoothness that suits me.

Much better than the regular Costa Rica. My wife can instantly tell the difference when I surprise her with a cup in the morning. One of her favourites as well
